Every month, year and decade in your reading is one card — and every card answers the same few questions. Learn them once and you can read your whole report at a glance.
Is this period with me or against me?
FavorableMixedCaution
The overall climate. Favorable: a good time to act and push forward. Caution: go slower, be careful, protect what you have. Mixed: some of both.
What exactly is happening — and in which part of life?
✦ / ⚡ detail lines · the life area
Specific events. The word says what kind of contact it is. The color says the direction: green helps you, red needs your attention, grey is minor — worth a glance, nothing more, and purple is a forced change with no direction either way — circumstances move you, and the outcome depends on what you do with it. The life area says where it lands: social world · career & parents · yourself & marriage · children & investments.
How strong is it?
⚠ double✦ doubleSame Pillar
Strength of impact. A double badge = the ten-year cycle and the year touch the SAME part of life in the SAME direction — that part counts double. It comes in both directions: ⚠ when both press on that area, ✦ when both support it — a doubled support is one of the strongest windows a chart can show. A Same Pillar = the year’s stem AND branch are BOTH identical to the stem and branch of the ten-year cycle you are in — the same two characters ruling both layers at once (the classical 歲運並臨). The classics judge it by WHAT those two characters carry in YOUR chart: for some charts it is genuinely favorable, for a few it is heavy, and otherwise it simply concentrates the year — everything on the card counts more. Your report states which case yours is.
Is it about me personally?
⚭ bond⚭ bond · transforms
Who it lands on. A bond = the ONE sign in the whole cycle that pairs with your Day Master (the sign that represents you) arrives. Depending on your chart, its theme is either money and results, or position and recognition — and in a bond period that theme tends to arrive by itself: offers and openings come to you, instead of you chasing them. Usually the bond stays an engagement: the theme occupies you without changing you. Rarely it TRANSFORMS — the two energies fuse into a new element and the whole period takes on that new character; your report tells you which case yours is. At most one decade in a lifetime carries the bond, and the occasional year — which is exactly why it is worth noticing when it appears.
Which of my stars are active?
NobleAcademicSolitude★
Your symbolic stars appear on the cards as small name-chips. A solid chip = a star you own — it sits in your birth chart, and this period makes it stronger. A dashed chip = a visiting star — a temporary influence you can use only during that period. The color follows the star: green = supportive, red = one that asks a little preparation — always shown together with its preparation, never as a bad omen. A ★ marks a star’s single strongest window: its year and month arriving together.
Any special conditions?
Money vaultMoney vault↻ all-chart shift○ void☀ / ☔ climate$ build$ care
Extra notes. A vault chip marks a period touching one of your chart’s vaults — solid = a born-open store you own, stirred and amplified then; dashed = a closed store that period opens; green = the stored theme supports you, red = handle it with care (shown only if your chart carries a vault). A shift = a period whose nature is that several parts of life tend to change together — not something to prevent, simply its character. The advice is about the changes YOU control: spread your own big decisions out, one after another, so you are never carrying every change at once. A void = a less settled, searching stretch — it never changes a verdict, just a quality to know about. Your birth chart itself can also carry a void position (Death & Emptiness); Section 3 says so if yours does — and classically a combination or noble star in your own chart can neutralize it entirely, which is the most common case. A ☀ warming / ☔ cooling chip marks a favorable period that also carries the element a winter- or summer-born chart welcomes most — those periods help you twice over (shown only for charts the classical climate rule covers; explained in Section 3). The $ tags mark your chart's money rule: build years and careful years.
Every indicator is computed deterministically from your birth data — and the written analysis is required to agree with the cards.
