To produce your reading we collect the details you enter: your name, email address, gender, birthplace, and date and time of birth. This is the same whether you request a free Leading Role report or buy a paid report. That is all. We do not collect passwords, we run no advertising trackers, and we never see your card details — any payment is handled entirely by Stripe. If your reading includes follow-up questions, we also keep the text of each question you ask and the answer you were given.
Your birth details are used for one purpose: computing and writing your personal reading. Your email address is used to deliver that reading and, if needed, to help you with your order. If — and only if — you tick the optional box when claiming a free Leading Role report, we also add your email to the Cosmic Guide mailing list to send you occasional offers; you can unsubscribe at any time — from the link at the bottom of any marketing email we send, or by emailing us at hello@cosmicguide.app to be removed — and if you never tick that box we never add you. We do not build profiles from your data, and we never sell or share it with anyone for their own use.
Your data passes only through the service providers required to produce and deliver your reading: Cloudflare (which hosts the service), Stripe (which processes your payment — your card details go to Stripe directly and never reach us), the secure AI writing service that composes the written interpretation from your computed chart and answers your follow-up questions (it receives your question together with the relevant part of your own report, and nothing else about you), and Resend (which delivers your report email). Each receives only what its step requires.
Your report stays available at its online link for about 90 days. When the link expires, our stored copy of your report — the birth details inside it, and any follow-up questions and answers stored with it — is deleted automatically from our systems. The emailed copy is yours to keep. If you bought an Energy Map, we keep the birth details behind it for as long as your access lasts — about 12 months, and longer if you renew. Once your access ends and you haven’t renewed, everything is deleted automatically. One thing lives longer, as with any online purchase: the payment record held by Stripe (your name, email and order details), kept for as long as financial record-keeping requires. If you joined our mailing list, we keep your email on that list only until you unsubscribe — using the link at the bottom of any marketing email, or by emailing us at hello@cosmicguide.app to be removed at any time. If you ask us to delete your data (see Your rights below), we remove everything within our control.
If your reading came with follow-up questions, the question you type and the answer you receive are stored with your report so that you can come back and read them again, and are deleted when your report is. We may read them ourselves to check that the answers we give are accurate and safe. We do not use them to build a profile of you, and we never use them for marketing. Please don’t type payment details, passwords, identification numbers, detailed medical information, or another person’s personal details into the question box — the feature has no need of them.
If you buy a Qi Men question, we keep your email address (to send and, if asked, resend your private link), the text of your question, the time and time zone it was asked, the chart and reading, the consultation and any follow-up questions and answers, and your date of birth only if you choose to give it. Your question and the relevant part of your chart are sent to the secure AI writing service to suggest the type of question and write the consultation. You confirm the topic before the chart is cast. Routing records, including the question, suggested or selected topic and routing method, are retained for up to 30 days to diagnose topic selection. The question, reading and follow-ups are kept until your link expires, 12 months after purchase (or 90 days after your last follow-up, if that is later), and are then deleted automatically; the record of your purchase and link is deleted automatically about 13 months after the link was last used (or bought, if it was never used). Your country, as reported by our host, is used only to show the right currency and is not stored. Please don’t include another person’s name, contact details or other personal details in a Qi Men question.
You may ask at any time what personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@cosmicguide.app and we will act on the request promptly. This address is also the contact for our designated data-protection officer and for any privacy question or concern, in line with Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA).
If you order a reading for a family member or friend, please make sure you are entitled to share their birth details with us; we use them exactly as described above and for nothing else.
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with an updated date. The promise at its core — your data is used only to produce your reading, and is never sold or shared — will not change.
